Shelly Vines
Shelly by Peter Donders is a one surface (shell) cast from a 3D print.
Based on the 3D print, a mould is made to cast the chair.
At some points you can still notice the original 3D print.
The limited edition chair is finished with a transparant lacquer.
Shelly is a supreme example of how digital technology and crafts can be blend together.
This Walnut Vines is a handcrafted chair based on a 3D model, the
3D model was split in 17 part for manufacturing this chair.
